Hi,
I'm Kyle, a Motion Designer based in Brooklyn, NY.
I see the motion locked inside every design and every brand. I strive to use my abilities in animation, design, editing, and VFX to set it free.
My road to becoming your motion graphics multi-tool has been a little unusual. I started my career at a major tech company delivering polished edits, logo animations, graphics packages, corporate anthem videos, and animated wireframes for UX prototyping.
I was ready to expand beyond just post-production and get on-set experience. So I started over, freelancing as a Production Assistant and working my way up to 1st Assistant Camera (Focus Puller.)
I worked on every kind of production including Project Runway, Netflix documentaries, and the Shawn Mendes tour. I prepped and operated state of the art cameras for agencies like McCann, Oglivy, and Vayner Media for clients like Nike, Land Rover, and Hennesy. I never totally left the world of motion graphics and post-production, however, and during this time I also freelanced on projects for McGraw-Hill Education, PNC Bank, and the New York Yankees.

In Spring of 2019, I was ready to return to full-time to my first love, motion graphics, starting at Taylor Strategy. I raised the bar for motion graphics, design, animation, VFX, and color grading at Taylor, enabling the agency to keep more projects in-house. I leveraged my production experience to communicate with vendors, make equipment buys, and supervise complex shots. I improved post-production workflows, color management, and lead the adoption of new tools. I also edited short form branded content and agency case studies.
A small list of clients from this time include: Guinness, Crown Royal, Smirnoff, Samsung, Circle K, Capital One, Gillette, and Secret.
After a successful run at Taylor, I was ready to level up even further, completing School of Motion’s Design Bootcamp in Winter 2022. Now with agency, design, production, and post-production experience, I am the most dangerous generalist you know, who specializes in motion graphics.
Outside of work I enjoy non-fiction podcasts, meditation, animation, home cooking, watching hockey, casual video gaming, and TV shows with spaceships.
